View the Partial Solar Eclipse
Come to see the partial solar eclipse at the University of Guelph through the telscope! View the eclipse with the naked eye using personal solar filter cards. The eclipse will begin at 1:08pm, peak at 2:30pm, and end at 3:48pm. All are welcome. Bring the family and/or friends! Take home a personal solar filter card (while supplies last). The observatory is a limited capcity facility.
Directions
The University of Guelph Observatory is located on the 7th floor of the MacNaughton building. Take the elevators to the 5th floor, and walk the last two flights to the roof.
