Since obtaining his PhD in Physics from Guelph in 2017, John has transitioned to a career in finance with the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan. Working in Model Validation, John vets a wide variety of mathematical models being implemented at the OTPP for uses in fair valuation or risk management. He has found the analytical and technical skills obtained through training as a scientist to be extremely useful in his work
