Our guest is Detective Constable Ted Misev. Ted has been an officer with Peel Regional Police for 13.5 years and graduated U of G with an Hon BSc and a minor in Physics. Ted worked in Peel Regional Police’s Major Collision Bureau for 4 years and is a trained Collision Reconstructionist in the Province of Ontario, applying a number of physics concepts such as conservation of momentum to determine the speeds of vehicles involved in collisions. Ted has been an expert witness in collision reconstruction at the Ontario Court of Justice and the Superior Court of Justice and he has also developed a methodology to use video surveillance footage to determine the speed of a vehicle that has been used/accepted in Court.
