If you are interested in pursuing further study in Physics or Biophysics, you have come to the right place! The Graduate Studies in Physics (GSP) program is one of the largest physics & astronomy graduate programs in Canada and among the largest in the world.

Our tradition of collaboration and innovation allows us to offer students a rich and varied graduate experience. With partnerships with the University of Waterloo, Wilfrid Laurier University, the Institute for Quantum Computing, Waterloo Institute of Nanotechnology and the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics, make the range of research topics available, one of Canada's widest and most challenging.

When you apply to our program your application is viewed by faculty at all of our partner institutions – that is over 100 prospective supervisors. You will have access to a wide range of courses and you will be a part of a vibrant and thriving research community.
