Ryan Dunlop awarded the 2017 Carl H. Westcott Memorial Fellowship
Congratulations to Guelph Ph.D. student Ryan Dunlop, who has been awarded the $12,100 Carl H. Westcott Memorial Fellowship for 2017. The Westcott Fellowship is awarded each year through a national competition administered by the Centre for Particle Physics at the University of Alberta and recognizes outstanding research by a graduate student carried out at TRIUMF or on a TRIUMF-related project.

The award recognizes Professor Williams for "his exceptional ability to lead students to high academic achievements in physics through excellence and innovation in teaching and mentoring, for his contribution to curriculum design inspired by the results of Physics Education Research, and for his leadership in promoting the adoption of innovative research-based instructional strategies within the Canadian physics education community."
