The University of Guelph’s Women in Engineering and Physics Outreach teams are so excited to welcome you to campus for this year’s event on November 30, 2024.  In response to high demand, this November’s Go PHYS Girl will run twice: one session in the morning (grade 7 & 8) and one in the afternoon (grade 9 & 10). Go PHYS Girl is designed for girls and gender diverse students, with the goal of spending a few hours on campus to learn about the incredible world of physics and future career opportunities. This is a popular event and often fills up, so register now to guarantee your spot.

Royal City Science [1], the Department of Physics at U of G, and Creative Encounters [2] will be collaborating to give an exciting day of Physics!  As a bonus, Royal City Science and Guelph Physics will have their inflatable planetarium [3]!  At this event, attendees will be exploring Indigenous teachings of the night sky and physics of the cosmos in the planetarium.
