The optimal entry point is at the M.Sc. level, though experienced Ph.D. students will also be considered. Competence in programming is not a prerequisite but would be an asset. I'm looking for students that would like to build a background in a number of distinct fields while attacking specific challenging problems ("something about everything and everything about something"). Research topics would fall in the general category of nuclear many-body theory, with the possibility of branching out to ultracold atoms (see also the Research page).

Interested students should also visit the Guelph-Waterloo Physics Institute website for more information about our graduate program.
