Professor Eric Poisson received an honorable mention from the American Publishers Awards for Professional and Scholarly Excellence for his textbook "Gravity: Newtonian, post-Newtonian, Relativistic",  co-authored with Clifford Will. The honorable mention can be found under the Textbook/Physical Sciences & Mathematics category on the PROSE Awards 2015 Winners' list.
