Mateusz Buraczynski to receive the 2015 Governor General's Silver Medal Award

Congratulations to Mateusz Buraczynski who has been awarded the 2015 Governor General's Silver Medal Award. The Silver medal is awarded to the undergraduate who achieves the highest academic standing upon graduation from a bachelor degree program. 

In addition to the Governor General's award, Mateusz has also:

  • won the CPES Graduation Prize: in the amount of $250.00 along with a personal plaque for having the highest cumulative average from an honours B.Sc. program in a Physical and Engineering Science area.
  • been named to the College and Physical and Engineering Science Society of Excellence: Membership in the Society of Excellence is granted to graduating students who have demonstrated excellent academic achievement and have made outstanding contributions to the University of Guelph community and beyond throughout their university careers. As a member of the Society of Excellence, Mateusz's name will be engraved on a plaque dedicated to society members. In addition, a personal certificate of membership will be prepared for Mateusz and a gift card for $100.
