2020 marks the 125th year of Guelph Physics!

Established in 1895, the Department of Physics has been part of the University of Guelph since the days when it was the Ontario Agricultural College. This year we will be celebrating Guelph Physics 125 with historical posts, events and outreach.

Guinness World Record - Largest Elephant's Toothpaste!

The University of Guelph Physics and Astronomy Club have been successful in their Guinness World Record attempt for the World’s Largest Elephant’s Toothpaste! The Physics Department is now considered ‘Officially Amazing’ after receiving confirmation from Guinness World Records in London England that their record has been approved.
