Congratulations to Paul Finlay and Evan Rand!

Congratulations to Paul Finlay, who was awarded first place (and 1000 Euro) for the best talk by a graduate student, and Evan Rand, who was awarded second place in the graduate student poster competition, at the International Nuclear Physics Conference (INPC) held in Vancouver, British Columbia on July 4-10.  The INPC, which was attended by approximately 800 delegates from around the world, is held every three years and is the largest international research conference covering all areas of nuclear physics.  Paul Finlay's award-winning talk presented An Ultra-High Precis

Congratulations to Matthew Barrett and Aidan Brown, named to the CPES Society of Excellence

Membership in the Society of Excellence is granted to graduating students who have demonstrated excellent academic achievement and have made outstanding contributions to the University of Guelph community and beyond throughout their university careers.  As members of the College of Physical and Engineering Science Society of Excellence, their names will be engraved on a plaque dedicated to society members and located in the CPES Dean's Office.

Congratulations to Jonathan Grossauer, recipient of the CPES Graduation Prize

This prize is awarded to the student graduating with the highest cumulative average from an Honours Program in the College of Physical and Engineering Science.  As part of this award, Jonathan Grossauer's name will also be engraved on the CPES Graduation Prize plaque in the CPES Dean's Office.
